GREEN LEMON: Every gardener knows the joy of brushing against the green leaves of lemon verbena or bee balm and sniffing the citrussy aroma they release. It's like captured sunshine! Aromatherapy Value: Stimulating, brain clarifying, uplifting. We have Herbal Soap in Bars or Liquid, and Hand Lotion available with this scent.
CLEAN MINT: Mint is an aggressive grower that will take over your entire garden if left unchecked. If only we could bottle this zest for life! EARTH WOODS: The warm, musky scent of patchouli blended with sweet herbaceous essences will remind you of the smell of the woods after a spring downpour. NEUTRAL: No extra scent added, but the oatmeal, beeswax and herbal oils impart their own wholesome aroma. We recommend neutral for the very young, or for those with allergies or skin sensitivities or for those undergoing chemotherapy. Many HERBAN AVENUES products are available in this neutral scent.
HOW CAN YOU UTILIZE THE SCENT YOU CHOOSE? You can apply HERBAN AVENUES Scents ($11.95/vial) in two ways: Inhale the vapors of a pure essential oil released by an HERBAN AVENUES AROMA Diffuser ($14.95) or Eye Pillows ($15.95) or let the plant oils enter through your skin by soaking with them in a warm tub. Or use an HERBAL SKINCARE product (i.e. massage or bath oil).
Aromatherapy - Fact or Fiction? The idea that you can smell something that will make you feel a certain way is ridiculous to many. Partly because our olfactory systems have been impaired by pollutants, allergies, and over-fragranced products. We have also been "conned" into buying "Natural", "Botanical" products that contain chemical preservatives & synthetic fragrances. With these, the aromatherapy benefits are lost in translation.
